Bigger Success Framework

The Bigger Success Framework is an essential tool for ambitious entrepreneurs with purpose driven businesses. It will equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to take your business to the next level and beyond.

Running a business can be challenging and it is not uncommon for entrepreneurs to question their sanity and their staying power when faced with the myriad of different problems that can arise throughout a businesses life cycle.

The framework focuses on shifting your energy state out of anxiety and into calm, so you can focus on the strategic decisions that will solve your business problems and turn them into opportunities for growth.

At Real Learning, We believe in
Business as a Force For Good

Our aim is to help you work less and earn more, providing you with your ideal balance between family, business and joy. The Bigger Success Framework is a unique blueprint to guide you on this journey to a better life for you, your family and your community, because when you have enough profit to do good in the world, everyone benefits.

The Lousy
First Draft

The best antidote to perfectionism and procrastination is adopting a Lousy First Draft (LFD). Instead of striving to create the best in one game, you surrender to the creative process being a series of drafts, each one being a lousy draft when compared to the next one you create.

Bizarrely, by aiming for what is a "lousy draft", the pressure to do something special is released, and you usually create something rather good in less time. By a process of iteration in use, the LFD is refined and improved, rather than being stuck in the paralysis of attempting to do your best effort in one go.

Vision all Outcomes

The best antidote to being busy is to ditch the "to do list" approach to life and instead adopt an outcome thinking approach to getting things done.

What's the difference? Well in outcome thinking you create a vision of what you want before you take action, and you imagine the ripple effect of achieving that outcome of your desire to achieve your biggest vision. You begin to see everything as an intentional action that leads you towards your destination.

This approach creates an energy that keeps you motivated and at a high enjoyment level for life.

Inner Success Flywheel

In the best-selling book Good to Great by Jim Collins, you can discover a collection of insights that distinguish good businesses from truly great businesses. One of these concepts was a Flywheel. They found that each truly great business had worked out its flywheel, a philosophy of how to build sustainable success by repeating a series of interconnected actions that builds momentum until a point of breakthrough, and beyond.

The inner success flywheel represents the interconnected nature of Sales, Leadership, Community and Mindset (see diagram below). Each element of the Inner Success Flywheel has five levels, and it provides a focus for Personal Growth in a way that transforms the level of Business Success that's possible. Being aware of the interconnected nature of these elements allows you to visualise and achieve exponential growth in circumstances where others simply struggle to survive.

The Friday Review

In all our work supporting clients, it is consistently their review process that is the weakest part of the growth strategy. The Friday review is a place where you think deeply about the previous 9 days and ask probing questions which allow you both to celebrate your successes and lean into what needs to work better. Turning around situations which seem not to be working, is a core skill for businesses who desire to make a bigger impact in the world.

The 9 Day Sprint

The development SCRUM which has revolutionised the way innovation is managed in the ever changing Tech world. At its heart is the philosophy that things go wrong, it's naive to think otherwise, and it's best to make room in your plans to notice when things are going wrong, learn from it and move on. Adopting this philosophy makes you a very resilient and adaptive organisation.

The 9-Day sprint is a simple adaptation of SCRUM to make it suitable for use by purpose driven SME businesses who know that the biggest impact is achieved by a sustainable growth and scale business strategy. The format is that each fortnight is split into 9 days of operational activity and one day of review (see Friday Review). This means no matter how busy you get, there is reserved time to take a breath, review and adjust for the next 9-Day Sprint.

Hear from our members

“I had the privilege of participating in Dave's business coaching program, and it has been a transformative journey.  I was unaware of the 'limiting beliefs' that were holding me back. Dave not only helped me identify these barriers but also provided me with the tools and strategies to dismantle them. Through various exercises and one-on-one sessions, I learned to challenge and remove these beliefs, paving the way for a more confident and assertive approach to both my personal and professional life. As a young entrepreneur, Dave has been instrumental in helping us achieve the success we have achieved, therefore I could not recommend him enough.”
